Summer ‘Spray’ Camp

In Spray Camp, artist Neo Medina will teach students about mural making and public art. Students will learn a variety of applications of exterior latex paint as well as spray paint. By the end of the week, students will get to put their skills to use in creating the 4th annual spray camp mural in downtown Appleton.

Please note, this camp will not be held at 111 W College Ave as the museum is moving to our new location. Instead, students will meet at the Appleton Public Library and at times walk as a group to the Downtown Appleton Red Ramp where the mural will take place.

We’re Moving – but we’re not done yet!

May 19 to October 11, the Trout Museum of Art is closed as we move to our brand-new location. But don’t worry – your favorite programs like SPARK!, Fare-Well, and Spray Camp are still happening this summer. While we’re transitioning, we’ll offer limited programming at alternate locations. Please note that other summer art camps will take a break in 2025 and return in 2026.

We can’t wait to share our new space with you! Check out sneak peeks of our new classrooms – including a fantastic outdoor classroom.
