I have been exhibiting my photographic work regularly since 2006 and in 2008 became a member of Milwaukee’s Coalition of Photographic Art (CoPA). I use mostly 4×5 B&W film, though also 35mm B&W film and occasionally a digital camera for color travel work. My artwork is varied as I am working on several concurrent series: Forgotten Souls (old cemeteries), Elements of Nature, Curves of a Woman (abstract nudes), Wheel Art (automotive), Alley Art (street wall murals), Destinations (travel), Electric, and more.
Photography is all about experimenting. So, this image was made using 30-year old, moldy, water stained 8×10 sheet film, an 110-year old camera and lens, and then developed in a mixture of Tylenol, drain cleaner (lye), and sodium sulfite. The image was then printed on silver gelatin paper.
