TMA Contemporary
Annual Exhibition | 1 – 3rd Floors
TMA Contemporary is the Trout Museum of Art’s annual juried exhibition, each year showcasing over 100 of Wisconsin’s top visual artists. Works exemplify the cutting-edge work being created by artists across the state, emerging and established.
Artist awards total $10,000, supporting the top seven artists’ work! Join TMA’s celebration of contemporary Wisconsin artists.
Artist in Residence Exhibitions
Annual | 3rd Floor
TMA's Artist in Residence programs operates with a goal to support and invest in visual artists whose work will impact the cultural landscape of the Fox Cities. Their studios are located on TMA's 5th floor, along with our Education Center classrooms. Each residency results in an exhibition, solo or group show, of their completed body of work the following year.
Art is Her
Ongoing | Atrium Gallery
Since 2020, TMA’s Atrium gallery space has been solely dedicated to our Art is Her initiative. The Art is Her exhibition series celebrates women artists and champions their goal of achieving museum presence equal to men. Women have long seen inequality in the art world, and today remain dramatically underrepresented and undervalued in museums and galleries.
