For Safekeeping
Recently I have been struggling with the passing of my grandma, trying to come to terms with the fact that she is truly gone. A few days ago, whileI was driving, I saw this big, bright, white moon, looking down at me from above. Remembering how my grandma had always loved the moon, a sadness grew over me because I couldn’t experience this with her. I wanted there to be a way I could hang on to this moon forever. So I pulled to the side of the road, in hopes of capturing its beauty. Leading to the inspiration of framing the moon in the sky, forever shining at me, “for safekeeping”.
