Inspiration:
The process of mourning has always been thought of as a dark time. Mourning has been very prevalent within the past year because of the impacts from Covid-19. Black and white images always bring the attention to the brightest part of the image because of the drastic contrast of dark and light. So making the image black and white was a no brainer when it came to representing mourning.
