Mixed Media-Insect Drawing in the Style of SteamPunk

Artist Statement:
I enjoyed using paint pens. My favorite part of this piece is the hook antennae. The metal gear on my beetle is another favorite of mine. The hardest thing to do was using the paint pens around the small details. The art we do at Hortonville Middle School is amazing because we get to use a lot of creativity. Art is one of my favorite subjects because you get to use your imagination. Art makes me feel calm and relaxed. I’m looking forward to art in 8th grade.
