Chaos In Paradise
I created “Chaos In Paradise” to push myself out of my comfort zone and accept that perfection isn’t always possible, the piece reflects on how even in paradise there is chaos. I wanted to experiment with different mediums and how they work together and by themselves.I first started the piece with the portrait, I was feeling very unmotivated so I decided to just go for it and drip watercolor over the piece, my idea was to “ruin it”. I added the green blobs with the stars to add more to the background and to add more contrast against the grayscale portrait. I really like the piece as a whole, I like that even though it has so many different elements fighting for your attention it still looks cohesive.
