Made to Order embraces commissioning contemporary art from artists in our community. This year, over 100 artworks, now on display, were commissioned, supporting art and artists, while expanding awareness on how easy it is to purchase original artwork.

Commissioning is a collaborative experience offering the unique ability to have a personalized work of art. Collectors handpick artists whose style and concepts resonate with them, while artists channel their creativity to form works that reflect their distinctive style, inspired by conversations with the buyer. This process combines an artist’s vision and craftsmanship, resulting in the creation of a one-of-a-kind work.

Made to Order is a celebration of art and artists and a fundraiser for the Trout Museum of Art. We are proud of the lasting connections this exhibit creates and grateful for the support of so many artists and community members.
