Remember Shrinky dinks? Well, although Stephanie Harvey is much too young to remember them of course (waaay before her time), she does love them and has a passion for sharing arts in the community no matter the size! She has been enjoying creating all sorts of tiny wall art, key chains, earrings, pins, wine charms and more with the amazing Grafix shrink plastic! During this Shrink Workshop, Stephanie will give you some tips and tricks on how to make the coolest, tiniest art things to gift or keep for yourself! You will go home with handouts, at least three completed projects, and leftover material to continue creating even after the workshop. Shrinkies aren’t just for kids!

Do you claim to have no artistic talent? No problem! Stephanie will also provide some royalty free clip art and other fun ways to create cool things to trace and modify! Attendees are also welcome to bring their own drawings, pictures, clip art, and other imagery.

Stephanie Harvey
Stephanie Harvey is a Wisconsin-born visual artist with a passion for promoting the arts in her community. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. It’s here she fell in love with printmaking and got back to working in the photography darkroom. More recently, she began doing embroidery and some mixed media fiber projects which incorporate her love of crochet, sewing and general love of crafts and weird “is this art?” type of things. Stephanie enjoys the enthusiasm that comes from teaching, exploring and engaging the community in art. She owns her own photography business, Boomerang Portraits, which specializes in black and white journalistic, storytelling portraiture of children and families.
