The Trout Museum of Art is excited to return with Made to Order 3, an exhibit connecting commissioners (art-buyers) with Wisconsin artists to create one-of-a-kind, customized works of art. TMA will spend the first part of 2023 working with artists and interested community members to commission works of art that the buyer can that take home! If you’re interested in commissioning, stay tuned for an announcement at the end of 2022 or beginning of 2023. Made to Order acts as a fundraiser for both the artists and TMA.

Commissioning artwork is a collaborative experience between the artist and buyer. Artists create works in their style based on what they and the buyer discuss, such as color, size, and subject matter. Artists put their vision, creativity, craftsmanship, and more into each piece. The buyer enjoys a front-row seat to watch their artwork come alive.
