Educator: Alyssa Burke
Adults & Teens 15+

Macramé is a form of fiber art made using knotting techniques. In this intermediate multi-session class, we will go over the basic knots needed for you to create a medium-sized wall hanging. You will learn how to choose supplies, design and begin a macrame piece, variations of specific knots, and how to create texture and patterns through repetition. You will leave with a finished piece ready to hang on your wall, as well as the knowledge needed to create more pieces on your own! Please bring your own optional dowel/stick at least 3/4” thickness and 16”-20” long. If you don’t have one we will provide one for you.

TMA members receive 10% off! A variety of supplies and equipment will be provided for use during this class, all included in tuition.
