Art Sustainability

Jul 20 – 24, 2020 1pm – 4pm

Ages 14 – 18

Instructor: Tyler Helfrich

Learn to reuse items and materials that would otherwise be thrown away! In addition to mixed media, collage, and sculpture, students will learn how to talk about art – and learn how to give and accept criticism. The principles of design will be taught in order to learn to identify as an artist. Save and bring interesting items that could be used as art materials for class. We will create 2D and 3D collages using found objects. Students should bring found materials, or any object or product that can be repurposed, such as recycled paper, plastic, random rubbish, sticks, etc. that you would otherwise throw out. All other supplies are provided.
