Due to COVID-19, this program is temporarily on pause.
Emerging Artists is a free mentoring program for independent and passionate artists ages 9-18 to work at their own, self-directed pace. Art Educators encourage flexibility in the moment and guide students to meet challenges as they arise. Students will learn studio habits, work ethic, project management skills, creative thinking, how to use various tools and equipment, and how to translate using media of their choice. This is a weekly program, and regular attendance is required. Completed projects will be included in gallery exhibitions and art shows throughout Appleton.
Emerging Artists meets Wednesdays, 6-7pm.
To register, please email Mark Ferrell at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Art Educators will contact you to schedule an interview. Interviews are required before you begin and include meeting the Art Educators, learning about the student’s artistic interests, seeing the studio spaces, and reviewing examples of the student’s artwork.
