Dear Friends,

Thank you for supporting the Trout Museum of Art's Art at the Park festival in 2022. We can confidently say that this was one of the best years yet! We celebrated our 62nd year with a free two-day community festival with more art, creative activities, food, music, and fun!

The following Art at the Park Annual Impact Report will give you an inside look into the festival, celebrated on July 23 & 24, 2022. Through the support of presenting partner Community First Credit Union, the John and Julie Schmidt Family Foundation's Community Matching Grant, all our amazing corporate and individual sponsors, the Joint Effort Marketing Grant, volunteers, talented artists, and staff, we made it a fabulous year.

Thank you for making 2022 a success! Your support not only helps the Trout Museum of Art, but drives a meaningful financial impact on our local economy. Providing a free annual celebration of the visual arts makes art accessible to everyone in our community and the state of Wisconsin.

With gratitude,
Christina Turner, Julie Gardner, and the entire Trout Museum of Art team

Thank you for AWESOME organization! You kept us safe Saturday and kept us open on Sunday.

Had a blast! Looking forward to returning next year.

Thanks very much for putting in all the work you do to put on a great event. Without you I would not have a business!!! Thanks!

Financials

With the help of Community First Credit Union, the Department of Tourism's Joint Effort Marketing Grant, the John and Julie Schmidt Family Foundation's community match, and all our area sponsors, the festival had a strong financial outcome that helps TMA's programming year-round and brings over 1.4 million dollar to our local economy. Thank you!

Marketing & Promotion

With the help of Community First Credit Union, the Department of Tourism's Joint Effort Marketing Grant, the John and Julie Schmidt Family Foundation's community match, and all our area sponsors, we let everyone know what was happening at Art at the Park this year. Thank you!

Direct Mail
In June, a appeal mailing was sent to TMA's 5,000+ mailing list, which includes Museum members, donors, artists, educators, downtown businesses, and more.
This mailing spread the word on event dates and how to support the festival.

Social Media
TMA utilized social media to promote the event, artists, vendors, and sponsors. January through April, we focused on a "call for artists." May through July, we focused on Art at the Park and sponsors.

With help from the WI Department of Tourism JEM Grant, paid ads on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok spread the word.
